Expedition Wasser
"Expedition Wasser" is a project focused on the creation of a photobook divided into three parts, reminiscent of the structure of a water molecule. Each section explores different aspects of water and its significance in our lives.
The first part of the photobook examines water consumption in our society, symbolized by a cruise ship. It dives into the extensive usage and impact of water in our modern world.
The second part celebrates the natural beauty of lakes, where people often seek solace and recreation during the summer months. Through beautiful imagery, this section captures the serene allure of these natural bodies of water.
Lastly, the third part of the photobook explores the everyday use of water, portrayed through analog photography and abstract elements. This section offers a fresh perspective on how water is intertwined with our daily routines.
Accompanying each series are texts, presented as either expedition logbook entries or poetry, adding depth and context to the visual storytelling. "Expedition Wasser" invites viewers to embark on a journey to explore the various dimensions of water, from its consumption to its intrinsic beauty and its role in our everyday lives.
